I have just purchased and installed traktor scratch pro i initially had installed it on a mac with osx 10 4 but updated to 10 6 so that the audio 8 driver works.
Traktor timecode vinyl not working.
Along with the white circle the angled line stays inside.
Hi guys just bought the traktor pro 3 update and the timecode doesn t work at all on my macbook pro high sierra.
If you are using vinyl check if the needle needs cleaning.
If timecode control does not work after following the steps above please consult the chapter traktor scratch pro 2 troubleshooting in the traktor application reference manual.

This is how the scope view looks if a deck receives a normal audio signal and not a timecode signal.
Scratch certified mixers are premium mixers with integrated audio interfaces that we ve tested for full integration with traktor pro 3 when using a digital vinyl system.
I have checked the wiring plenty of times and all is good.
This still requires the use of traktor scratch timecode media and will not work with any timecodes from 3rd party manufacturers.
If i m not mistaken there is no real way for us mk1 owners to get scratch to work if we have upgraded from traktor 2 non scratch to traktor 3.

Traktor opens runs ok loads and plays tracks via mouse clicks but the timecode vinyl wont control the tracks.
Traktor receives a timecode signal from timecode vinyl but the calibration circle isn t really a circle.

Traktor pro 3 introduces the scratch for all feature it now supports any audio device for timecode control provided the required audio inputs phono for timecode vinyl line for timecode cd are offered.

Traktor pro 3 supports certified mixers from allen heath pioneer dj denon rane korg and ecler.
These mixers will offer full functionality with traktor pro 3.
During playback the calibration scope should display a stable timecode signal as pictured below for timecode vinyl and timecode cd.
Traktor is now ready for its use via timecode control.
